Psalm 75 We give thanks to you, O God, we give thanks, for your Name is near; men tell of your wonderful deeds. (v.1)
Have you ever felt like you were going to burst if you couldn’t tell someone what God has been doing in your life? I often wonder if my friends and family think I’m crazy when I call them late at night because I just have to tell them what God has done that day.
One of my friends challenged me to give my testimony at the Healing Service. I hate to admit that I quickly sprang a leak and no longer felt like I was bursting. Public speaking has never been part of my comfort zone. Through prayer, the Lord brought me to this Scripture: “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony…” (Revelation 12:11a). Jesus’ blood has been shed for me and I knew with Him I could overcome fear and give the word of my testimony.
Jesus led me through the fear to experiencing freedom as I told of His healing touch in my life. Our personal testimony of God’s deeds in our lives is an awesome witness we should share with others.
