Earlier, I watched the movie The Sheep Detectives. Winter lambs (aka “bummer lambs) are babies that are born at a different time than other lambs. They often look different with spots or other differences. The winter lambs are usually shunned by the flock and abandoned by their mothers. They feel like they don’t belong. In Jesus’ family there are no winter lambs.
